Beautifully crafted sterling silver concho belt, crafted by Zuni artist Juan Martinez. Amazing fine, detailed stamping and repousse work graces each concho, butterflies and the buckle. Juan worked for Atkinson Trading for a period of time in the 70's and his fine, precise silver work was well respected. The buckle and conchos are set with top grade, Morenci turquoise shaped nuggets.

Each of the 9 conchos measures 1 7/8" x 1 3/4", and the buckle with repousse design measures 2 1/4" x 1 3/4". The soft black leather currently is 46 1/2" long, with an additional black leather and buckskin leather belt. A beautiful dark aged patina graces the entire belt. 300 gram weight. Hallmarked JM.
