Description

Masterfully crafted, hand-wrought coin silver concho belt, crafted by Anglo artist Collin Wood. A lovely flower design graces each concho and buckle, with each concho having a slight dome. Collin Wood was one of many artists that spent time, while doing their art work at the Mabel Dodge Luhan (Lujan) house in Taos New Mexico. The home was a gathering place for artists, writers, painters and wealthy visitors from around the world. The buckle is hallmarked C (leaf) W, as are each of the copper belt bars with the leaf stamp.

The belt measures 46" long including the leather and can easily be adjusted to size. The buckle measures 2 7/8" long by 2" wide. Each concho measures 2 3/8" by 1 3/4". The leather portion of the belt is new.
