Vacit was one of the most respected and talented Zuni jewelers of his
era. He mastered the technique of channel inlay, along with amazing
mosaic inlay. His ability to create intricate designs is unrivaled, even
today.
This wonderful Kachina design offers the best
of Vacit's work, with his distinct mosaic inlay of black jet, red coral, Blue Gem turquoise and MOP. Delicate filing around
the frame of the buckle adds the final touch to this outstanding piece.
The buckle measures 2 3/4" long by 2" wide and will accept a 1"
belt. Hallmarked.
