This outstanding concho belt and bracelet presents the best work from an era long past! It is covered with small petit point (tear drops) and round natural turquoise stones, each set-in tiny saw tooth bezels. The detail and workmanship is just amazing when looking closely at the work. Even the tiny raindrops between each of the outer stones. A very unique repoussé coma silver design is this artist special signature. The stones are natural turquoise with deep rich blues with some aged color change. A deep patina on the silver adds to these beautiful pieces. One of the conchos has an added pin on the silver bar but can still be worn on the belt or as a pin.

Trader Mark Bahti and I are tracking down the maker. Believed to be a mother and son from the Zuni area. This was the mother's design, and she only sold her jewelry at Powwows and Rodeos. Not to traders. The era was the 1950's and 60's.

The back of each concho has a double silver bar, with a dark black leather belt measuring 1 3/8" wide. Each of the 9 concho's measure 3" long by 2 1/2" wide. The beautiful buckle measuring 3 1/2" by 2 5/8". The entire belt measures 36 1/2" long. The beautiful bracelet measures 3 1/2" tall by 2 3/8" wide. Curved perfectly to fit the wrist. The inside measures 5" with a 1 1/8" opening.
