Bessie Vacit followed in her father's footsteps, creating beautiful channel inlay work. She used her father's stamp on her jewelry, often creating confusion as to who's work it was. She made similar piece, as to the design, with just the slightest difference.

Frank Vacit was one of the most respected and talented Zuni jewelers of his era. He mastered the technique of channel inlay, along with amazing mosaic inlay. We were fortunate to have him visit our business in Gallup, NM and offer his amazing work.

This wonderfully designed inlay set offers the best of Bessie's work, with her distinct channel inlay of vivid natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise. The necklace measures 17" long and with the center drop of 1 1/4" can be hooked shorter. The earrings are 1 1/2" long. Hallmarked.
