Hopi, Manuel Hoyungwa, all silver overlay dragonfly ring with tadpoles. Manuel is from the village of Hotevilla on Third Mesa and has been an active silversmith at the Hopi Pueblo from the 1970s until his passing in 2011. His teacher and mentor was his uncle Preston Monongye, who taught him the art of overlay. A simple design with precise workmanship. The ring measures 1 1/4" long by 7/8" wide and is a small size 3 1/2. This ring can be resized. This ring is dated to the 1970's and has his Strong Rain hallmark.
