Victor Coochwytewa was one of three Native American elders chosen as Arizona Indian Living Treasures at the seventh annual AILTA award ceremony held in Phoenix in September 1994. This recognition is but one of the many accolades bestowed upon the Master Hopi Jeweler in a career spanning more than half a century. Decorated World War II Veteran (1922-2011). Victor retired from Hopi Silversmithing and his beloved farming in 2006. He continued living with his family at Hopi. Victor passed away at the age of 89 on July 3, 2011. An accomplished master Hopi jeweler and a humble man. Victor's work is not only amazing but highly collectable.

This stunning 14k gold on silver overlay ring depicts a beautiful Star Blower, with four 5 point full cut round brilliant diamonds. Victor noted his Star Blower brings light into darkness and was the first to make jewelry using this figure. Made in 1995, while making jewelry for Kopavi International, in Sedona AZ.

Hallmarked with Victors (Rain Cloud), the Kopavi stamp and name, and 14k, sterling.

The ring measures 1 11/16" long with a wide solid shank, also overlayed in gold. The size is an 8 1/4".
