With the influence from his step-grandfather, who was full blood Chocktaw, JD was drawn into the spirit of the Native American people. Watching a Ghost Dance ceremony, he realized where he wanted to take his art and it became his mission in life. He began painting individuals from Paiutes too the Plains tribes and beyond. Portraying their spiritual and cultural deeply held beliefs. JD's work is shown and exhibited worldwide and found in exclusive Fine Art Galleries in the USA.
