Description

This outstanding concho belt presents the best work from an era long past! It is covered in fine detailed stamping, perfectly placed repoussé and is set with small 5mm round turquoise stones in heavy smooth bezels. The detail is amazing when looking closely at the work. Even the tiny raindrops between each stone. There is great age on this belt, with a deep patina on the silver and beautifully aged color change of the turquoise stones.

Both Etsitty Tsosie and Hosteen Goodluck were commissioned to make stamps for trader C.G. Wallace during this era. This beautifully crafted concho belt offers hand wrought crafting of silver.

The back of each concho has a single copper bar, with a soft dark black leather belt measuring 5/8" wide. Each of the 6 concho's measure 2 3/4" long by 2 1/8" wide, with the ties measuring 2 1/4" by 1 1/4". The beautiful buckle measuring 3 1/8" by 2 1/2". The entire belt measures 35 1/2" long.
