Description

Vernon Haskie is an accomplished Navajo jeweler from Lukachukai, Arizona. Vernon is an amazing jeweler who learned silver-smithing, at a young age from his father, artist Leonard Haskie. Having won many top awards, Vernon's jewelry is sought after by galleries, museums and private collectors worldwide.

Masterfully crafted this beautiful bolo has beautiful overlay silver work. Hand fabricated by Master artist Vernon Haskie. This lovely early piece features a stone-to-stone center with coral, turquoise, sugilite and lapis. A stunning design for sure! Hallmarked V in dots.

The bolo measures 3" tall by 1 3/8wide, with 2 1/4" tips. Total length is 44" including tips.

This bolo is one of many collected over years by a Physician/professor that wore his bolos every day to his classroom and lectures. Many have small stickers showing the date he wore them and in what class he was teaching. It's an honor to share some of his special bolos with others.
