This beautifully designed Squash Blossom necklace set was created by Zuni artist Marvelyn Lasiloo. Stunning silver work of stamped rain drops, leaves and scalloped bezels frame nugget cut stones of natural Morenci turquoise. Finely handcrafted beads add the final touch to this great necklace.
Marvelyn would come into our Trading Post in Gallup to purchase the Morenci turquoise and was often accompanied by someone in the Simplicio family. Looking closely you see similarities with these two families work.
The Naja measures 4 1/8" tall by 3" wide. The total
length measures 30" long. The ring is size 7 1/2, earrings are 1 1/4" long by 1" wide, with silver French wires and the bracelet measures 5/8" wide, 5 1/2 inside with a 1 1/8" opening. Slightly adjustable. The squash blossom and bracelet are both Hallmarked with her ML and ZUNI.
