This wonderful ranger buckle set by Dan Simplicio, c. mid to late 1960's, is masterfully set with 8 natural Morenci Turquoise nuggets. The stones were hand cut, with Dan leaving the natural nugget contour on each stone. These stones have a slight color change from age and wear, which adds to it beauty. This set offers the best of Simplicio's work, with his beautiful leafs draping over the stones with additional leafs on the buckle.

The buckle measures 2 3/8" by 1 7/8" and its a 3/4" belt. The keeps are 3/4” wide and the tip is 3/4” by 15/16” long. There is no hallmark on this piece, which was common on most of Dan's work. Please visit our Artist Biography page for more information on Dan Simplicio.
