Description

This gorgeous bracelet is the work of Pueblo artist Julian Lovato. c:1925-2018. Julian was born on the Santo Domingo Pueblo in 1925. He began his jewelry career in 1938 and in 1948 became an apprentice of Frank Patania Sr. His work reflects both the traditional austere pueblo design and the modernistic design. He focused on the quality of the materials he used in his jewelry, with top grade coral and turquoise as his centerpiece.

The beautiful deep tomato red coral is surrounded by the perfect silver design, that enhances the beauty of the vivid red color and the overall look. There is a substantial weight on this lovely bracelet.

The center measures 1 5/8", with the silver portion at 1 1/4" tapering slightly. The inside measures 5 1/2" with a 1 1/8" opening. Slightly adjustable. Hallmarked J. Lovato, IHM, Patania's thunderbird and sterling.
