This wonderful Owl necklace was most certainly crafted by Zuni artist Theodore Teddy Edaakie. Both Lee and Theodore worked for Trader C.G. Wallace in Zuni, NM between the 1930's into the 1940's. Theodore became a master of inlay work and passed on his knowledge to many members of his family. To this day the Edaakie family continues to craft beautiful Zuni jewelry.

Set with beautiful materials of turquoise, jet, Mother of Pearl, coral and cowry shell. These cute Owls offers the best of Theodore's channel inlay work. Very nice hand crafted silver beads add the final touch to the amazing necklace. The owl Naja measures 3 5/8" long by 3 1/4" wide. Each of the 8 smaller owls measure 2" wide by 1 5/8" long. The total length is 30". Not hallmarked, which was common with many of the early era artists.
