This beautifully crafted, petite squash blossom necklace is hand fabricated Zuni work. It is set with 146 very small, hand cut natural (high grade) turquoise stones that are securely set in tiny saw tooth bezels. Tiny silver rain drop between each cluster of stones and frame the outer edge of the Naja. Very fine work!! Nicely hand crafted beads add the final touch to this lovely necklace.

This necklace dated to the 1940's and does not have a maker's mark--being of a time when such things were not commonly done. The time and patience needed for the fine workmanship of this style of work by Zuni artists is to be admired and respected. The stones and overall condition are excellent.

The Naja measures 1 7/8" long by 1 1/2" wide. The necklace measures 21 1/2" long.
