This lovely bolo is Navajo work. It is set with a very pretty webbed Variscite stone. The silver work is quite nice with stamped silver drop and beautiful file work surrounding the stone. Not hallmarked.
The bolo measures 1 5/8" tall by 1 3/4" wide with 2" tips. The black braided leather with tips total length is 39" long.
This bolo is one of many collected over years by a Physician/professor that wore his bolos every day to his classroom and lectures. Many have small stickers showing the date he wore them and in what class he was teaching. It's an honor to share some of his special bolos with others.
