wonderful ring offers the unique and creative design of Navajo artist Kenneth
Begay. Kenneth Begay (1913–1977) was called the "father of modern
Navajo jewelry" for his innovative modern designs. Although his career
began from the traditional jewelry teachings of Fred Peshlakai, Kenneth took
his talent beyond those early lessons. He created elegant, clean designs with
balance and beauty! This beautiful ring depicts his style of work
perfectly. Simple elegance!
This lovely ring is set with a gem grade, Lone Mountain turquoise stone. The
precise silver design with the gorgeous teardrop stone, is a perfect example of
Kenneth's work. The top portion measures 1 1/4" long by 1" wide. The
size is a 6.75. Can Be sized. It is absolutely beautiful on! It is hallmarked with his KB
mark.
