This beautifully crafted Squash Blossom necklace is hand crafted Navajo work. Circa: 1947's to 1963. It is a stunning necklace with beautifully made saucer beads and a gorgeous naja with natural Persian High-Grade turquoise. Very fine work!! Heavier gauge silver was used on the handcrafted beads and time was taken to smooth them out to a beautiful finish. The Naja has fine twist wire with precise stamp work. A wonderful smooth patina graces the entire necklace. This necklace dates to 1947's to the 1963 which is indicated by the C.G. Wallace code on the back. It also has the early double TT etched code for the Tobe Turpen Trading Co. Does not have a Hallmark of the maker--being of a time when such things were not commonly done. The Naja measures 2 1/4" tall by 2 7/8" wide. The necklace measures 26" long. Just a perfect length and looks lovely on!!
