Description

This stunning bracelet by Dan Simplicio, c. mid to late 1940's, is masterfully set with 33 natural #8 Turquoise cabochons. The stones were hand cut, with Dan leaving the natural nugget webbing on each stone. These stones have the most beautiful color change from age and wear. The center piece is a large Mediterranean red coral branch that he has inlaid turquoise within the branch. A unique transfer of the coral branch shape is seen on the silver on the inside of the bracelet. This bracelet offers the best of Simplicio's early work, with his beautiful stamped rain drops and open design on a stamped cast shank.

The center width measures 2 1/4" tapering to 3/4" rounded terminals. The inside measures 5 3/4" with a 7/8" opening, slightly adjustable. There is no hallmark on this piece, which was common on most of Dan's work. Please visit our Artist Biography page for more information on Dan Simplicio.
