This pretty bracelet is from the early days of the Santa Fe Railroad, Fred Harvey Hotel and Bell Trading Post period. to be sold to travelers on the new highway or rail system running through the Southwest. Shops that produced multiple pieces of the familiar heavily machined stamped designs, employed local Native American artists to complete the work by setting stones and applying pre-stamped out ornaments. Each artisan was encouraged to use his or her own design patterns to create a large variety in which to choose from. Fred Harvey era jewelry is widely collected as an antique jewelry genre valued for its Southwest look and historic context.

This lovely 1909/1930's bracelet features a lovely greenish Blue Gem turquoise stone. This piece is aged with a wonderful soft patina. The overall integrity of the bracelet is excellent. Stamped Sterling and has an early Bell Trading Post hallmark. The top width (stones & silver) is 7/8" wide tapering to 1/4" at the bottom terminals. The interior of the cuff measuring 5 3/8" with an opening gap of 1". Slightly adjustable.
