This fabulous link belt offers the beautiful work of well-know Hopi artist Morris Robinson. Morris Robinson (Talawytewa) was born at Oraibi. He began his career in Phoenix AZ in the early 1920's and continued his silversmithing, until retiring in 1963. He working at several different Indian Jewelry stores in Arizona, where his pieces became highly desired by collectors. He used his personally crafted stamps, creating intricate and amazing designs.

This rare concho belt offers all of the best of Morris Robinson's work and also a vintage piece of history. The buckle is set with a beautiful Natural Blue Gem turquoise stone. Each of the 12 concho's measure 1 3/4" long by 1 3/8" wide, with the 9 birds measuring 7/8" by 1 3/8". The beautiful buckle measuring just under 2" by 1 3/4". The silver has a lovely patina from age and the overall belt is in excellent condition. The entire belt measures 37 1/2" long. The buckle is hallmarked.
