Lambert Homer, Sr. (1917-1972), Roger Skeet (1900-1959)
Widely recognized, both of these men were respected artists in their own right. Lambert Homer Sr. often collaborated with other artists who worked with trader C. G. Wallace. He is perhaps best known for pieces featuring intricate mosaic and channel inlay work. Roger Skeet was a master silversmith and crafted some of the finest silver concho belts. The two men would collaborate on pieces such as this lovely bracelet.
This wonderful vintage 1940's bracelet is inlaid with natural Blue Gem turquoise and deep red Mediterranean coral. Fine stamp work graces the outer silver curves of the bracelet. The original making of the silver shank slightly protrudes on one side. Not noticeable when wearing, but my picture shows this slight difference.
The beautiful bracelet measures, 1 1/8" wide. The inside measures 5 1/8" with a 1 1/16" opening. This bracelet is more than jewelry, but a visual reminder of the incredible, combined talents of the early masters! Please visit our artist biography page.
