This lovely hand fabricated necklace is the work of renowned artist David Taliman (1902-1967). Born near Ganado, Arizona. He began his career in California under the guidance of well-known Navajo silversmith Fred Peshlakai. Moving back to New Mexico In the late 1920's, where he began working as a bench smith at some of the historic Trading Posts in the Southwest.

This beautiful necklace has detailed stamp work, also on the side chain with stunning repousse designs! Hallmarked Hand Made by Indians, Solid Silver and D Taliman. This hallmark indicates his time working at or for the Garden of the Gods Trading post. Just beautiful on the neckline!

The center width measures 1 7/16". With the length of 17".
