This wonderful silver Ranger Buckle set was hand fabricated by Yaqui artist, Danny Romero. Danny (1954 - 2018) is of both Yaqui and Spanish heritage. Danny grew up in Douglas, Arizona and has been working with stone and silver since the 1970’s. He received many awards in the 1970’s - 80’s for both his traditional jewelry as well as his inlay jewelry. Best known for his amazing inlay work that looks like a painting, only in stone. Danny was the first silversmith to create painted art using cut and inlaid stones into jewelry.

A beautiful Ranger set, depicting a sliver Cholla Cactus which gowns in the Arizona desert and looks exactly like this when dried. A deep overlay design with natural shapes of the cactus adds the final touch to this piece. The buckle measures 3” long x 2 1/4” wide, with the silver design in the 2 keepers and end tip. The buckle will hold a 1 - 1 1/4" bely with the keepers 1" and tip 7/8" belt. Hallmarked.
