This lovely collar necklace is hand fabricated Zuni work. It is set with 78 hand cut natural, turquoise cabochons that are carefully set in fine hand crafted bezels. Each section measures 2 3/8" long by 2 7/16" wide. The total necklace length measures 20" long, which includes a hand made link chain that allows for your desired length. This necklace dated to the 1940's, does not have a maker's mark, but the age, design and exquisite work could only be done by an early master. Note the tiny, tiny silver drops between each stone and the stamped silver drops at each ends section. Beautifully crafted with the use of a heavier silver base.
