This pretty designed silver bolo has channel inlay work set in the center with various shades of turquoise and deep blue Lapis. The design in silver is quite beautifully crafted. Hallmarked J. R. D., Sterling.
The bolo measures 3 1/4" tall by 1 7/8" wide with 2" tips. The black braided leather with tips total length is 36" long.
This bolo is one of many collected over years by a Physician/professor that wore his bolos every day to his classroom and lectures. Many have small stickers showing the date he wore them and in what class he was teaching. It's an honor to share some of his special bolos with others.
