Frank Dishta Sr. (1902-1954) is best known for his exquisite channel inlay jewelry. He is one of the first jewelers to work for Trader C.G. Wallace, starting in the late 1920's.
This beautiful 1930's squash-blossom necklace set, features hand-cut Mediterranean coral cabochons channel inlaid in a silver Chevron design. Lovely, hand-crafted silver bead adds the final touch to the lovely necklace. A wonderful patina graces the entire 4-piece set. There is a C. G. Wallace Traders Code etched on the back of the naja.
The necklace measures, 30" long, total length, including the 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" naja. The naja has 43 matched hand cut coral stones. The 12 squash-blossoms measure 1 5/8" by 1/2". The ring is 1 3/8" long x 3/4" wide and is a size 7.75. The earring are 2" long, including the top post circle x 3/4" wide.
