These lovely vintage earrings are Zuni work. Set with hand cut snake eye turquoise stones. Hand crafted links are securely attached allowing the lovely all silver dangles on the sides to hang beautifully. Earrings are a special addition to any collection, as they enhance how we look and make us feel beautiful. The early earring have become very collectable and hard to find.
The earrings hang 2" long, with the top portion measuring 7/16". They are sterling posts.
Zuni jewelry both inlay and cluster work, are obviously some of the most difficult to create. Along with this work being very time consuming, the artist must master not only silversmithing, buy lapidary (stone cutting). Our respect for the many Zuni artist goes without question, as they are truly a gifted people.
