This lovely 1960's dye chart was hand crafted by Isabell Dischinny, from Window Rock Arizona. Her signature is on the back.

This informative dye chart illustrates 18 plants used by the Navajo Indians to dye their wool yarn. Each plant sample is labeled with it's common name. A hand spun yarn strand in each color is then woven into a miniature rug on the loom. Original glass and frame, measuring 25" by 19".
