In August 2010 at the Santa Fe Indian Market, we visited with Lawrence for awhile and learned how he became interested in jewelry making. It was such a pleasure for us to have this opportunity, knowing that his work will play a significant part in the history of Hopi silversmiths.

Lawrence had been a silversmith for over 60 years and his work has been featured in numerous publications and collected by museums such as the Heard Museum, Phoenix, the Museum of Northern Arizona, and the Peabody Museum, Harvard University.

This lovely overlay pin/pendant has his wonderful bear design with some special added features. A soft even satin finish graces the entire piece. It measures 2 1/4" in diameter. A silver chain is available upon request. Hallmarked with his bear and Saufkie.
