This beautiful double parrot pin/bolo was crafted by well-known Zuni artist Dan Simplicio. The piece is set with Blue Gem turquoise, jet, Mother of Pearl and abalone shell. This pin offers the best of Dan's work, with his distinct mosaic design and the outstanding, precise silver work. Dan is best known for his turquoise and coral setting, with less know of his talents in fine inlay work, which this piece presents. The pin measures 2 1/2" circumference. Dan did not use a hallmark on this piece, but this lovely pin/bolo is definitely the work of Dan Simplicio. See Artist biographies on Home page.
