This beautiful Thunderbird figure is Zuni work. Set with materials of turquoise, jet, Mother of Pearl and abalone shell. This lovely bolo offers a distinct mosaic inlay design of a Thunderbird, with wonderful silver work. The quality workmanship in this piece, lends itself to being early work by Frank Vacit. A deep patina graces the entire piece, with the back having a heavy patina. The bolo has a heavier weight than most.
It measures 3 7/8" tall by 2 1/8" wide. The hand-crafted tips are 3". The black leather strap is 43" total length, including the tips. Not hallmarked.
