This lovely 3 strand necklace features 66 beautifully carved birds and bears, by well-known Zuni carver Andrew Quam Sr. Circa: Early 1970's. Beautiful mix of various shells and serpentine material makes this lovely, colorful necklace quite pretty. Andrew was a master Zuni fetish carver that was active for a short period into the 1970s. A hand written note from the shop owner of the White Eyes Indian Shop, certifying the necklace will accompany the purchase.

The necklace is strung with hand crafted Santa Domingo olive shell heshi. The total length is 28" long, including the silver findings. The birds measure from 5/8" up to 1 1/8". with the bears from 3/4" up to 7/8" long. Just beautiful on!
