Lawrence (1934-2011) had been a silversmith for over 60 years and his work has been featured in numerous publications and collected by museums such as the Heard Museum, Phoenix, the Museum of Northern Arizona, and the Peabody Museum, Harvard University. His work is collected by many, as he perfected the art of Hopi overlay. He has earned many awards during his career.

This lovely overlay spinner pendant has his wonderful bear design and a bear paw design with some special added features. Quite heavy, as it is solid silver. A soft even satin finish graces the entire piece. It measures 2 1/4" in diameter. The heavy silver chain is 24" long. Hallmarked with his bear and Saufkie on the inside rim frame.
