A amazing ring by famous Zuni artist John Gordon Leak. His work was prominently featured in the 1975 Sotheby's auction of the C.G. Wallace collection. John Gordon Leaks was most well-known for his knifewing and dragonfly images.
This lovely ring is a beautiful example of his work. The central arrow image is inlaid with the four sacred colors, Mother of Pearl, spiny oyster and turquoise, within a black jet background. Very fine twist wire graces the outer silver frame. The top width of the ring measures 3/4" long by 7/16" wide. The ring size is a 6.
