beautiful butterfly pin with exquisite craftsmanship, by early artist John Silver or possibly John Silversmith. Adding to its look are the number of stamps used to create the beautiful wings and body of this butterfly. The smooth patina of the silver adds the final touch to this wonderful pin. Hallmarked with the 5-point star radiating from the center circle.
The pin measures 2 7/8” tall by 2 1/2" wide. It is in excellent condition.
