This wonderful Dan Simplicio bolo tie and matching buckle is set with raised turquoise, coral, carved jet, carved yellow lip shell and mother of pearl, set on a dark shell background. The wonderfully designed dancing figures offers the best of the Simplicio's inlay work. Pieces like these are rarely seen, as Dan preferred stonework over inlay. It also features a beautiful silver frame with Dans leaves and scalloped bezels. Inlaid feathers on the matching tips add the final touch to the bolo. So colorful!!

The bolo measures 2 3/4" tall by 2 1/8" wide. The tips measure 2 3/4" long, including the inlayed portion. The bolo strap is a braided leather cord, with a length of 41" long. No signatures or makers mark but definitely the rare work of Dan Simplicio.
