This wonderful inlaid full figured Eagle Dancer was hand crafted by well-known Zuni artist Joe Zunie. The figure of this dancer is made with materials of mother of pearl shell, gold lip shell, jer, abalone shell and turquoise. The detail of the work is amazing, with etched designs in the feathers and the clothing. Several raised areas add dimension. The overall look is perfectly presented in this real looking Eagle Dancer. Hallmarked JZJ and Zuni.
The figure measures, 5 1/2" long x 3 1/8" wide. The matching tips are 1 1/8" tall by 7/8" wide. The black leather including the tips is 21 1/4" long each side, (total of 42 1/2" total length).
