These
lovely vintage dangle earring are Zuni work. Set with hand cut petit point and snake eye turquoise stones. Hand crafted links are securely attached allowing the lovely 2 tier dangles to hang beautifully. Earring are a special addition to any collection, as they enhance how we look and make us feel beautiful. The early earring have become very collectable and hard to find.
The earrings measure 2 7/8" long, with the top portion measuring 1/2" in diameter and the bottom portion, measuring 1" wide. They have sterling screw backs, which can be changed to posts upon request.
Zuni jewelry both inlay and cluster work, are obviously some
of the most difficult to create. Along with this work being very time
consuming, the artist must master not only silversmithing, buy lapidary (stone
cutting). Our respect for the many Zuni artist goes without question, as they
are truly a gifted people.
