This beautiful material comes from a small find near Barstow, CA. The cab measures 11.5mm x 28.2mm x 5.7mm thickness. The WEIGHT is 20 carats. High polish on this hard stone.

The name given to this material is from the idea that one needs the power of Babe the Blue Ox to pull it from the ground and the strength of Paul Bunyan to break it up. The main colors range from a deep blood red to a deep orange/red, with white to gray crystal banding.
