This beautiful eagle dancer bolo was handcrafted by well-known Zuni artist John Lucio. Set with turquoise, jet, Mother of Pearl and abalone shell. This bolo offers the best of John's early work, with his distinct channel inlay eagle dancer and precise silver work. John started his jewelry craft in the early 1950's as an apprentice to several of the older masters in Zuni. He soon became a master of the art with his work being very collectable.
The bolo measures 2 1/2" tall by 2 1/2"wide. John did not use a hallmark on this bolo, but this lovely piece is definitely his creation. Please visit our Artist biographies.
