Hopi artist Ramon A. Dalangyawma, created this wonderful shadow box overlay design, featuring a Spider in the center with a webbed design shadowbox. Wonderful matching Spider tips. Heavy silver is used in his pieces. Ramon is from the village of Hotevilla and has been an active silversmith at the Hopi Pueblo from 1978. He learned his craft at the Hopi Crafts. A wonderful spider design with very precise workmanship.

The bolo measures 2" by 1 1/2". The hand-crafted heavy tips are 3 1/4" including the spider tips. The thick braided black leather is 46" total length, including tips. Hallmark with his last name.

This bolo is one of many collected over years by a Physician/professor that wore his bolos every day to his classroom and lectures. Many have small stickers showing the date he wore them and in what class he was teaching. It's an honor to share some of his special bolos with others.
