This incredible pendant is set with a rare, purple Charoite cabochon from Russia. The stone has a depth and zat, with brilliant chatoyant wisps of purple crystals throughout. The center piece stone measures 1 1/2" wide and 2" long. The stone is set in a smooth bezel and framed with a three tiered, beautifully designed cut and filed base that measures 2 7/8" long by 2 1/4" wide with an additional 3/4" bail.
Holding this pendant are hand fabricated, graduated hogan and rectangular silver beads that measure 12mm round at bottom and 1" by 5/16" rectangles at bottom. Smooth and high-quality feeling throughout, made from heavy gauge silver. The contemporary sterling silverwork was fabricated by master Navajo silversmith Tom Lewis from New Mexico. The beads length is 18" total. With a total necklace length of 24". This is a outstanding piece especially if you like purple. One of a kind collector's piece.
