This beautiful Fire God ring was created by well-known Zuni artist Frank Vacit. Set with materials of turquoise, jet, Mother of Pearl, coral and yellow lip shell. This lovely ring offers the delicate work of Vacit, with his distinct mosaic inlaid Fire God in a simple hand hammered frame and placed high on a yellow lip shell background. The ring measures 3/4" long by 5/8" wide. Measuring a size 5. This piece is not hallmarked, but is strongly attributed to Vacit's work. Both Frank Vacit and Leo Poblano's pieces would often feature the inlaid small dots.
