Description

This beautiful, silver lighter has a webbed #8 turquoise stone set on the front and an all silver knifewing on the back. Crafted in the 1940's. This lovely Zippo Lighter features beautifully detailed silver work and stamp work on all 4 sides. Many of these early boxes were designed by a Navajo silversmith and then the addition of Zuni designed figures were included with the final finishing of the box. Heavy silver with an easy to open hinged top adds the final touches to this lovely piece of history. A wonderful addition to any collection. Slight wear on the knifewing figure. No hallmark.

The lighter measures 2 1/4" tall by 1 1/2" wide by 1/2" deep. The center knifewing figure measures 1 3/4" long by 1 1/2" wide.
