This Hemis Kachin' Mana was carved and signed by world renowned Hopi carver Jimmy Kewanwytewa. She measures 10 3/4" tall by 4 1/4" wide, not including the height of the feather. She is in excellent condition, with no cracks or broken parts. Signed JK on the bottom right foot.
This Mana is the most ubiquitous of all the women who appear with other kachinas. She changes her name to that of the kachina with whom she is dancing although her appearance does not change. Her presence is a prayer for corn. (Kachina Girl, Yellow Corn Girl).
