This beautiful Thunderbird figure is Zuni work. Set with materials of turquoise, jet, Mother of Pearl and coral. This lovely bolo offers a glimpse at the best of inlay done in Zuni in the early era. This distinct mosaic inlay design of a Thunderbird set in a silver background is quite beautiful. Fine stamp work adds the final touch to this piece. A deep patina graces the entire piece, with the back having a heavy patina.
It measures 2 1/2" long by 1 7/8" wide. The tips are 2 5/8". The dark brown leather strap is 33" total length, including the tips. Not hallmarked.
