Their inlay work is some of the most beautiful of all the Zuni inlay work. This buckle is by well-known artists Harlan and Monica Coonsis. This husband and wife are best known for their outstanding, fine mosaic inlay. A career beginning in the 1970's Harlan is considered one of the finest artists in Zuni. This lovely buckle is set with all-Natural coral, turquoise, jet and shell. A beautiful array of colors. A heavy silver frame adds the final touch to this great piece.

The buckle measures 2 1/2" long by 2 1/8" tall and will fit a 1 3/4" belt. Hallmarked, H M Coonsis. Added etching, possibly by the owner is Zuni NM, U.S.A. 2004 and Achiya La-da-ba.
