This beautiful Nacozari cab measures 13.5mm x 24.5m x 4.5mm thickness. The WEIGHT 14.5 carats. The color is a pretty blue with yellow, red and black matrix. The stone is thinly backed.

Nacozari Turquoise is found in Sonora, Mexico south of the Bisbee, Arizona in the same mountian range. Like the Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, this turquoise is desired for it's beautiful blue color and very little matrix. Some material contain tiny pyrite inclusions and white spots due to the stone's aluminum content.
