This beautiful bracelet is set with 154 tiny marquise cut Natural Turquoise stones. The bracelet was hand crafted by Zuni artists Bernice and Roosevelt Tekala. This Zuni couple created channel inlay jewelry beginning in the 1940's. Roosevelt began early-on with the tiny, flat set marquise shaped stones used in his jewelry. This shape differs from that of the Dishta family, which used distinct teardrop cuts in their jewelry. The Tekala's began hallmarking their jewelry many years post 1940's, when customers and dealers requested a hallmark. They preferred flowers, feathers and leaves with their silver work often having an open silver design. This beautiful bracelet depicts the best of their work.

Their work is featured in the book, Zuni the Art and the People. The fabrication is exquisite with precise silver and stone work. Not hallmarked.

The top measurement of the bracelet is 1 1/4" wide tapering to 1/4".
